I hesitated for days to make my decision about the battery grip for my Canon T3i....I was worried that by paying less then half the price of the Canon name brand I would not recieve a quality product. I was wrong. This battery grip is superb; the packaging was excellent. The grip itself looks and feels solid - it's not a cheesy plasticky looking flimsy grip. It matched my camera exactly in color and appearance and coating. Speaking of the coating on the grip - it is not just a glued strip of rubber, it is part of the equipment and cannot peel off. It worked from the moment I installed it. I love the way it looks, feels and operates, and the shutter position for taking portrait oriented pictures is wonderful. Go for it, you won't be sorry.
